Hmm... well what if you tried inwardly directed emotion? You know, anger that is directed at the situation or you rather than a specific person? That sounds like it might work as a more controlled version of what you just described.
Personal anger's the easiest way to use the T-Link System, too, which is another reason why Anguis refused to go down for so long this time. But, well, especially ever since getting RyuKoOh, I've gotten a lot of success out of just focusing my senses...m-maybe that could work for the Lambda Driver too?
This probably sounds weird coming from me, but kendo's actually a really big help for learning to center yourself. I use it more for that than for actual learning how to fight with a sword now.
Not many people really understand how it works. The gist of the manual is "Here's the things that have worked for other people. Find something that works for you."
Imagine taking a guy from world war two and sticking him in a mobile suit and telling him to make a manual from trial and error. We're kind of stumbling in the dark here.
