Hmm... well what if you tried inwardly directed emotion? You know, anger that is directed at the situation or you rather than a specific person? That sounds like it might work as a more controlled version of what you just described.
Totally untrue. An angry mind can make tactical decisions, just like a person who is afraid can make tactical decisions. You prove that yourself all the time, I've seen you direct your anger productively during combat before.
Think of this as the ultimate test of emotional control. Keeping your mind separate from your anger. So you would be literally fueled by rage. But the important thing is, fuel is directionless, so be that direction. And if you mastered that? Imagine what you could do with a Lamda Driver?
[Mao spends several minutes mulling this thought over.]
...Well, technically, it's not fueled by rage. The lambda driver can be activated by any strong emotion, rage and fear are just the easiest to come by in a battle.
But I digress: That'd probably work, but I don't think I could consistantly keep up that much rage without making bad decisions.
I can understand that, and if other emotions work then maybe you should try those? In any case, if you want help with this sort of thing, I have had a lot of training in this regard.
Not the Lambda Driver, never used one of those, but in controlling my emotions.
