Librarians may be acting in concert with your agent. Because there aren't many books that fly off the shelf the way that the Dragonbreath books do.

Although I wish my library system would buy them in better bindings. (This is an old battle for me. Library bindings don't get the same kind of discount from Baker and Taylor. *sigh* The trade bindings fall apart after ten or so readings, and believe me, these books go out way more than ten times. Thank heavens for Elmer's Glue! I can usually manage to make the copy limp along until I can get a replacement copy (or three), at least if all the pages made it back to the library.)
