I used to live just outside of the French Quarter... Oh if you had the time there are SO many places to go! And oh god yes the food...so much good food.

Angeli's for one.., Croissant Diore, the scary seafood place off of Rampart that is in a terrifying neighborhood but has the most amazing fried catfish..
Plus of course..bookstores( there is one across from the dogpark..I can't remember its name.. it is CRAMMED full of musty old amazing books..and has kitties), and bars. So many places in such a small area.

I miss that home. I hope you are having a fabulous time.

I'd hate you for being in New Orleans, but that'd be very uncharitable of me, so I can't.

BUT YOU GOT TO SEE AN ORIGINAL MICHAEL PARKES!!! I am so jealous right now I have no words.

What gallery was it in? I'll have to add it to my list of places to stop at if I ever get back to Nawlins. It's been far too long.

And yes, the food is so amazing.
