I guess I should go back to New Orleans someday, though the one time I went I was 2-1/2~3 years old at the time, the memories are a little fuzzy. I have a cousin that the last time I checked lived in the Big Easy, but it's been over two decades since I last talked to Chuck.

New Orleans is an awesome place! After reading your journal it made me want to go again. Clearly I didn't see enough.

I walked into a gallery in New Orleans once that had an exhibit of approximately thirty original Erte dancer sculptures. And two original Mucha sketches. All for sale. I came very, very close to going home with one of the Muchas. Very close. I love that city. I couldn't live there (my failure, not hers), but I love the place.
