A common man, common sense theme from this man is becoming increasingly hard to swallow. Never mind the question of simple awareness of basic life facts. The alternative explanation is even worse. This is no time for senior moments. It's also worth noting how well the McCains play the corporate shell game by hiding their personal interests under corporate titles for tax advantages and liability protection. Just like Enron! WHY would you believe these people relate to, much less care about, regular, everyday Americans?

Considering how wealthy McCain and Bush and the rest of their people are, it's getting hard to call this a democracy and not an oligarchy.

The last administration was so bald faced about it (Starting an incredibly expensive war that directly benefited a company that the vice president had a stake in, for starters) that I can't imagine what it takes to offend the average person any more.

Have you tried that thing where you hold your nose, keep your mouth closed, and kind of inflate your head with the air in your lungs? That's what I have to do every time I fly, regardless of head-coldedness.

(The one time I flew while congested I literally wept the entire time from the pain in my ear. Fucking excruciating. )

yeah, and it helped temporarily on the flight, now it does nothing. I've taken sudofed a couple times and all it does is make me speedy. Alexis thinks if I go to a doctor they'll just tell me to take sudofed.

Could be ear wax. Been there, had that. Baby oil (probably not made by rendering babies) helps soften the wax. Very warm water too.

About your ears...when I came back from Hawaii I had a cold and apparently had water in my ears so when I went on the plane I bruised and almost burst my eardrums. I urge you to go to a doctor, it sounds like the same thing happened to you. :( I was on HEAVY antibiotics for a few weeks and I couldn't hear the whole time.
Go to the doc!!!
