I haven't yet started reading books using my portable DVD player yet. I did use it to read lists of verbs generated from the Moby Project parts of speech list, as part of a research project. I'm not clear on whether you're taking screen captures or trying to type things in. I do want to make sure you know of Project Gutenberg which has Moby's Thesaurus and what looks like some older versions of Roget's Thesaurus. Just in case. :)

I have both! However, my DVD player won't display plain text files, HTML, or PDF. It will display JPEGs. So I'm using an app called EBook to Images to convert Project Gutenberg text files to a series of JPEGs. But since each image file is given a file name based on consecutive numbers, a thesaurus would be hard to use. I'm busting it up into sections of various sizes.

Ah, good, well by that I mean I'm glad. I'd have hated to think you were hand scanning things and typing from complete scratch.
