Zack had been quiet, for a little bit, and Zack being quiet... always seemed so unnatural. True, this was in part because Angeal was no longer a part of the network they'd been on, but it had been a couple weeks since he'd spoken with Angeal personally, as well

The canine didn't come from the door however. Instead he pounced Angeal from behind, having come from some other direction. There was no sign of Zack to call the dog off, most likely he had wandered off somewhere in the area.

Ryuu barked loudly, tongue lolling as he made an attempt to slobber all over Angeal's face.

Angeal would have laughed at this, but considered what might happen if he opened his mouth, at the moment, and did not. Instead, he tried to shove the large dog off of him, while rubbing on its sides and ears affectionately. Ohhhh, Angeal was going to need to wash up, later...

"Good to see you, too," he murmured to the canine. "Let's look for Zack."

At the mention of looking for his Master, the dog instantly got off of Angeal, barking a few times as he headed in the direction of the chocobo barn.

Helpful little guy. Or huge, as the case may be, but still. Angeal grinned a little, following Ryuu.

Ryuu ran directly into the barn and up to Zack who had obviously been feeding the birds.

"Woah! What's up, Ryuu?" He asked that excited dog with one of his usual grins before hearing the footsteps of someone else. Looking up, it was easy to spot the source of the steps.

"Angeal! Hey! Didn't know you were coming. Hang on, I'll be finished here in a minute."

He smiled back, happy to see that Zack was so cheerful. "I can wait." He glanced at the chocobos, happily regarding each of them. They seemed happy, too.
