Zack had been quiet, for a little bit, and Zack being quiet... always seemed so unnatural. True, this was in part because Angeal was no longer a part of the network they'd been on, but it had been a couple weeks since he'd spoken with Angeal personally, as well

As Zack finished up with his single black chocobo, it leaned in and started preening his hair a little. Zack pushed her away laughing a little. "Not now, girl. We'll go out for a ride later, okay?" He told her, giving her some scritching. She leaned into it, letting out a kweee as he pulled away and headed towards Angeal. "So what up?" He asked his mentor in a carefree manner.

"Not much," he answered warmly, leaning against a barn wall. "Just checking in. It's been a little bit."

"Only a couple weeks. That's not really too long." Zack answered, leaning against an opposite wall and folding his arms in a relaxed manner.

"Mmmm," Angeal sounded non-commital, waving one hand slightly. "Longer than I'm used to, from you. If it's quiet too long, I tend to wonder what pranks you're plotting." He grinned.

"Okay, guess that's a good reason to be checking up on me. I won't deny I've got a bad record when it comes to that one." He answered with a chuckle. "Don't worry, no pranks this round. I've just been busy. I decided to start world-hopping more."
