It came about after they tried to banish all the adult content writers - leaving them all the tweens, Mary Sues and generally the worst fic you will come across (although there are still a few good stories to be found there if you can wade through the trash).
That is one of the things that pisses me off the most about this whole thing. The miserable twat put my story up there - after I was one of the people ff.net banned because I dared to get involved in the campaign to stop them from removing adult content!
That's really sad when you really think about it. Isn't FFNet supposed to be a place where you can share your stories, even if they contain 'adult' material? (As long as it's properly rated and all that jazz, it should be okay. >__<;;) BTW, thanks a lot for writing that ginormous storyepic! <3 ....... ..... ...Although I have to admit I would have completely missed its TRUE origins if not for owleyes_arisen's post. I'm rarely at AFNet, sooo... ^.^;; I did, however, notice it on FFNet right away. Truth be told, I found it somewhat suspicious that any author would upload 60+ chapters in just 2-3 days!!! O__O;;
Methinks they changed their name: 'Pit of Voles' is nowhere to be found on FFNet. However... ..."A Shadow of What Was" is still there, up to chapter 60, by the author named KiraIzuruLuv. (WHO is that, exactly? O__o;;)
