So, you wanna know how to order a copy of Steam-Powered: Lesbian Steampunk Stories, which is full of 15 stories of steampunky (and very multicultural) goodness by such awesome authors as N.K. Jemisin, Amal El-Mohtar, Sara M. Harvey, Mike Allen, Shweta Narayan, Meredith Holmes, Georgina Bruce and Matt Kressel, huh?
Well, I've got some good news! Until November 3 you can do so over at Torquere Press' bookstore. The print book is just $13.95 and will ship in late January, when the book comes out.
If you preorder the book by Nov. 3 (either at Torquere's website or by emailing me if you want me to sign and/or inscribe the copy), I even have a special deal for you: A large, collectable postcard featuring an excerpt from one of four stories with one of four designs on the flipside--the book's awesome cover art or other steampunk art I'm having created, as well as a snazzy bookmark to match. This way, you can give a taste of the anthology to a loved one for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Diwali/Yule/any other winter holiday before the anthology comes out. How do you get these postcards and bookmarks? Just preorder from now to Nov. 3 on the website and send me evidence of your order at upstart.crow @ gmail dot com. You can also order through me personally at that address until Nov. 10 Thanksgiving (by popular demand!) (since I know the preorder window on Torquere's site is short).
But Jo, I hear some of you saying. I'd rather have an e-book. No worries, e-book readers! There'll be an e-copy too (though I have no pricing info for that yet).

Small press books don't get nearly the attention they deserve, and as this one deserves a hell of a lot of attention, any help at all is appreciated.
