Pretty much all of my dorm other than my room (thank god!) smells like the biological station right now. I am so grossed out. To me cooked fish smells the same as dead fish, which is why I don't eat the stuff. Apparently one of my roommates does though so the apartment has smelled like something washed up on the beach for hours. I'm hoping this was ( Read more... ) -
Finally an answer!
So, for the past year and a half I have been hearing music from the clock tower at odd times. I have always wondered why it played, because it wasn't on the hour or anything regular.
Today, with the help of a friend, I finally have the answer: I must be a cylon! -
I am finally set for winter!
So, after getting fed up with doing the silly hop-skip-jump routine to avoid stepping in puddles and getting my feet wet I decided to get with the program and do what everyone else did: buy rainboots. Oh wow, I went to see 10 Inch Hero today, and was it ever good! I'll admit that I went for Jensen Ackles, because you can never have enough of him, but ended up liking all the characters and their storylines. So, I had so much fun in my Intro to Poetry class today. Usually I feel a little dumb in that class, because while I can understand the logic when someone says the underlying meaning or when class discussion takes us to it, my brain won't make the leap by itself. Wow, I never realized how much I use my touchy-screen mouse thing until my hormone-addled snuggly pre-heat cat decided to use it as a pillow, thus rendering it useless. It's so odd that my look-at-me-wrong-and-I'll-slap-you cat is laying on my laptop because laying beside me in the chair isn't close enough to me that I can overlook the cat hair ( Read more... ) -
