i studies a certain method of acting a few years ago that was similar to what you are describing here. it was basically one person and then two people on stage, just being in the space, not talking, just identifying what they were feeling in that moment. ultimately it boiled down to "like" or "don't like". people ended up pushing each other, or crying, or making out. basic. and real.
