Hey everyone! I need to borrow some knowledge from your big brains.

I'm working on my book and I need some good monsters for one scene, but I'm not sure what. The three biggest qualifications are that they are:

A: Strictly nocturnal, aka afraid of/can't function/will die in sunlight. Preferably not humanoid.

B: Nothing 'normal', like vampires,

You need to talk to or message jaharper88 AKA the author of Problem Girl over on ff.net. She knows a ton about mythology, especial Japanese and Irish ghouls and monsters and has been very helpful to me. She would help you out in a heartbeat with this stuff.

Hmm...the first thing that popped into my head was a chupacabra, but I'm not sure they're actually all that scary. Might I recommend little_details? That place is kinda amazing.

I'll check it out! Thanks! This is driving me a little nuts. And yeah, chupacabra...not that scary. XD I was considering giant spiders but that seems somewhat cliche. I want to think outside the box.
