the Internet is for.... boring?

I need something better to do with the internet than Live Journal and Facebook.   Etsy is only so entertaining.  I guess I could go back to stumbling again...

Also, I want long belly dancer hair.

I waste my time watching HGTV and right now there's a pair of belly dancers house hunting.  They have nice long hair.

I should go back to studying

I just introduced you to Cracked.com, how can you be bored with the internet?

I also highly encourage tvtropes.org, which I think I've mentioned to you once or twice. It talks about recurring cliches in entertainment. And you can also waste time on snopes.com for urban legends, which can be fun.

Not that I'm encouraging you to waste your time, but those are some ways to do it.

This may sound silly, but both cracked and tvtropes have to much reading for me. I havn't plumped their depths but there' just to many words for my "wasting time moments" think once I'm out of grad school it'll be better and I can give them the real attention that they deserve. As much as I love reading, I spend to much time doing it to truly enjoy it on the interwebs during my break times.

I get what you're saying. I've been there with recreational reading, tho I don't feel the same way about those particular websites, cause they're easier to get into than a book. Though Cracked has photoshop contests. I also started reading the "fauxtography" section of snopes, and it led me to Worth1000.com, which is pretty much exclusively pictures, and they also have photoshop contests. I'm only looking at those tho, cause some of them are kinda awesome.
