My cousin's boyfriend's brother passed away recently and the funeral was, today. Yesterday, she called and asked me to do a reading during the service (Catholic). Apparently, her boyfriend wanted someone, who actually goes to church. The funny thing is that he couldn't think of anyone because he doesn't go to Mass himself!
( I don't get that... Why have a Catholic funeral when you didn't live a Catholic life? ) -

This is a music post!
Lately, I've been wanting to get into new music, but that's hard when you never listen to the radio. ALSO, the radio stations out here sticks to rap/r&b, oldies, country or pop. None of those are necessarily my thing so, I'm not likely to run out an buy an album by anyone I'd hear on the radio. ( Anyway, I did a bit of searching and--with high hopes--downloaded two albums: ) -

You know, after all the talk about a "snowstorm" and how we were supposed to get 6-8 inches, it was pretty disappointing! Last year, we had actual SNOW and when we walked on it, the grass didn't become exposed.
