After I finished putting the last punctuation on my last blog I took off to a dear friend of mines house as we prepared to go to Las Vegas. Our trip was filled with lavish drinks, dancing for hours, roaming the neon lights by the falling and rising sun. I even took a little gamble myself. Oh wow, I love Vegas. I am trying to get back over there for my friends 30th next September. There are so many good restaurants there too!

Twice during Memorial Day, but couldn't pull the trigger despite someone recommending the steaks. $12 for asparagus is rather insane, but this IS a Batali place.

We ended up splurging at L'atelier J.Rob and it was among the top 5 meals of this year so far for us.

@sinosoul if I'm going to pay 12 dollars for it, it should be cooked right. I really want to go to L'atelier I'll have to save it when I can go with someone who can really appreciate it.

You tipped? I used to be a waitress and I'm pretty mean, I know, but for service like that I'd have argued the price, definitely not tipped.

I am jealous of you going to Vegas, it's somewhere I've wanted to see for a long time.

He was nice but i think just stupid or careless. I think if I left nothing he would of thought I might of just forgot so leaving him a buck or two would nail it home that he got a couple dollars on a 50 dollar check. Those things just don't even seem worth it to me sometime. a drop in the bucket .

everyone needs to go to vegas sometime!

Hell yeah! I think about that sometimes. Not with meat, you know, but with bread and cheese and such.

I'm so jealous that you got to stay at Paris! It's my favorite hotel and I've always wanted to stay there... we need to go to Vegas together once I have the time and money :)

Exactly cheese plate and some wine or drinks i'm totally there. I love it!

Paris was amazing, we will defiantly have to take a trip to Vegas together.

You and I are doing so much traveling this summer its crazy! but even if we wanted to stumble on a plane from Burbank for a two day get away like a Tuesday and a Wednesday the flights are like 70 dollars round trip and we don't even have to drive. Living in LA is pretty cool :)
