although I like far far far away from Iowa I'm happy to hear that one more country finally approved gay marriage =D

it distracts me from the sadness of the situation here in Italy, where basically they discuss and fight and criticize so much I don't think we'll ever have the right to marry =(

but I'll keep my hopes up and in the meanwhile YAY FOR IOWA!!! =D

:D well, it's only in Polk county and there are people challenging the ruling, so they've put a hold on giving out any more licenses. But this morning 12 couples went in to the Polk County Courthouse and got licenses! This is a big step forward!

Eh, Iowa's always been pro-civil rights. I just hope that enough people actually go out and vote in favor of making an amendment to the Iowa constitution if it gets to that point.

Ha, and I love how California's just like, "Gay marriage? NAHHHHH."

And by "love," I mean, "am completely perplexed and frustrated at," in case you hadn't guessed.

Yeah. I'm just frustrated with all the people on the register's website who are like, 'don't worry. It'll get overturned.' People like that make me sad :(
