Blue enjoyed the outdoors so much more. Inside, she wasn't sure how she could help people. They were all down, feeling the weight of the challenge that she missed, that she couldn't understand.

She padded alongside the bay, taking in the fresh air, the soft breeze. Not far away she picked up a familiar scent and lifted her head to see Silver, looking and sounding worse for wear. Blue ran along quickly, nudging her muzzle against his side with a worried whimper to see what had happened.

There was no one else around that she could sense... what did he do, then?

Silver had no idea the animal was there until it was up against him. He jumped in surprise, nearly turning what was left of his power on it before realizing it wasn't trying to hurt him. He'd never seen anything like it before, and there was no way he could have known it was Blue.

He didn't have much thought to devote to that, however; he was preoccupied with his injured hand. He squeezed his arm above the wrist - it wouldn't help with the pain, but it was a reflex and somehow it helped him think. There had to be someplace here that could help with this. If something here could bring people back from the dead, then they could fix this.

He hoped.

He shook his head again and turned back towards the compound. "Don't touch the things in the water." He wasn't sure the animal could understand him, but far as he could see, it was sound advice.

Blue glanced towards the water, tilting her head in thought, than looking back towards Silver. So it was something in the water that had hurt him, then? That perked her interest, but she wasn't about to go wading into it. Silver probably knew what he was talking about, still, she could ask.

"What's wrong with things in the water?" Blue called to him. If Silver turned back around, he would see the human woman in place where the canine had been. She looked calm, and still her eyes shone with worry for his injury.

He was not expecting that, and at the sound of her voice - Blue's voice - he recognized it - Silver whipped around, flinching as the sudden motion brought a fresh wave of pain to his hand. When had Blue gotten here, and where had the animal gone?

Between his thoughts and the pain, it took him a bit to process the question. "The blobs," he explained, a bit fragmented. "They...they sting. They did this." He gestured to his injured hand. A few tentacles that had been ripped from the creature when he'd blasted it off were still stuck to his fur and his skin, which was turning an angry red where the jellyfish had stung him.
