As Masayuki entered the kitchen, he halted for a second. There was Aki, bare chest, wearing nothing but black pajama pants with flames on the lower half, rummaging though their fridge. It was already noon, he had thought he was gone already.

"Hey Uncle Aki!" The brunette greeted the messy haired man.

"Masa-kun, you're up already?" He put down several things from the fridge.

"It's 1 PM." The younger said, matter of factly, before he claimed a seat. "You're cooking again?"

Aki hummed and nodded, unpacking meat and filling the rice cooker.

"My parents are still sleeping, I assume?" He watched his so called uncle, his eyes averting to the butterflies tattoo every few seconds. He yawned and rubbed his untamed mob of hair.

"They are showering. Or something similar." He pulled out pans and pots like it was his own kitchen, knowing perfectly well where everything was.

"Uncle Aki, could you do me a favor?" Masayuki said, laying his heavy-feeling head down on folded arms. He was still too tired.

"Sure, spit it."

"Send me a text message the next time you come over to warn me. I'll sleep over at some friends place."

Aki spun around, cocking a pierced brow in confusion. "Am I bothering you?"

"No, it's just damn hard to sleep when you three are so loud all night." He yawned again, closing his eyes. If he wanted to, he could fall asleep on the dinner table.

"Oh!" The bassist laughed. "Sorry. I'll make it up to you."

"No, seriously, no. I'm not interested in my parents' sex buddy." The younger waved his hand blindly, reluctant to lift his head again.

"That's not what I'm talking about!" He laughed a little more, trying hard not to cut himself as he chopped carrots. "But now that you mention-"

"I said no!" The teenager grumbled, both hands on his head tugging on brown strands like he tried to pull out unwanted mental images.

"Maybe tell you some tricks? You could have Chiaki wrapped around your little finger in no time." Aki spoke, a purr in his tone.

Aki glared at the bassist. "It's not like I need any help. I'm not interested in Chiaki, either, you know."

"But that kiss on Christmas Eve-" Aki explained, with a not so subtle undertone.

"Why is everybody teasing us about that?" Frustrated, the younger sighed.

"You'd be so sexy together." The bassist pointed out.

"And cute." A tall blond chirped from the door. He toweled his hair and sat down next to his son.

"Mom, no. Drop it." Masayuki growled.

"He's right, though." Hiroto joined in, slapping Aki's butt as he walked by to grab a seat himself.

"Dad!"

Kazue was taking notes from a book Masayuki brought over. Astrology. She took off her glasses and rubbed her hazel eyes.

"You know, you can leave if you want to, you don't need to watch me study."

"Aki's with my parents." The boy on her couch said, all huddled up.

The girl chuckled. "I see. He was here on Tuesday. He made some delicious teriyaki."

"At least he's a good cook." Masa sighed, rolling onto his back. "I just hope he's not staying another night."

"He never stays for more than one, you know that just as much as I do." She said, her smile showing empathy.

They stayed silent for a few minutes, Masa enjoying the peaceful atmosphere he'd never have at home, Kazue taking more notes on red and blue stars.

"He was in a teasing mood, though. Hitting on me and making comments 'bout me and Chiaki-kun."

Clearing her throat to voice what was on her mind for a little while, she turned around again. "I know it wasn't your only kiss with Chiaki."

"Huh?" His brows furrowed, but he kept staring at the ceiling.

"On Christmas, I mean. It wasn't even your first kiss."

"So what?" Why wouldn't people just leave him alone.

"I'm just saying." She said with a smug grin and stuck her nose back into the book. No need to make the boy angry, ne?

A young boy peeked his head into the room. "Nee-chan?"

"Yuudai, what's wrong? Why aren't you taking your nap?" Her little brother approached her, so she picked the six years old boy up and sat him on her lap.

"Naps are boring."

Masayuki laughed out loud. "Where are Nao and Tora anyway?"

"Dad's purse sort of exploded, he needs a new one and Tora is just coming along to buy some shirts, I guess." She explained, prying her brother's hands off the book.

"And plunder like five restaurants."
