Wow what a beginning- this comm is going to be the best thing EVER.

I LOVE how you tell this from the Dom's point of view, how tentative and careful he is with a new sub/relationship. How you show the strength of his control by showing how much he has to actually struggle against- I could actually feel the surge of adrenaline. VERY nice.

Thank you very much for your comment. It made us both smile. The intent with the verse is to write bdsm relationships as we see them. Although there will be sex along the way, it's as much about how the Dom(me)'s, subs and switches view things and each other as anything else. Bob is very unsure of Mikey right now and is definitely being careful with him. More of that will be obvious as we post more fic.

This is definitely a really refreshing view, on D/s relationships and knifeplay. I'm super excited for this series, this was an awesome intro into things. Kudos for a good start, and I can't wait for more!

We're super excited as well. We've been talking about this verse for a very long time. It pretty much stemmed from the type of D/s fic that we wanted to read, and the bandom boys are so pretty, and in some cases, very hurtable, that in the end we couldn't resist putting them together. Although there is going to be lots of relationship angst along the way, we also want to try and show how a D/s relationship can be on a day to day basis. That doesn't of course mean there won't be more kink :D They'll be plenty of that.

Wow, this was amazing. I don't remember having read a lot of fics that focused on the Dom's state of mind, and it was so interesting to read what Bob was feeling, how his mind wandered because he wanted MORE, he wanted to own Mikey but he knew he had to wait until Mikey was ready.

I loved the part where Bob wondered if Mikey was really into BDSM or just pretended to so Bob would be interested; because it showed why Bob insisted on taking baby steps with Mikey, even though he knew that Mikey would've agreed to anything Bob would've asked of him.

I can't wait to have another story to read in this 'verse, because I can already tell that this will be my favorite comm EVER. Great job guys!

Thank you very much. We're pretty stoked at the comments we're getting on this and that people are enjoying the comm so far.

It's very true that Mikey pretty much would do anything that Bob wanted. This is why Bob is having to take things very slowly and be the responsible and careful one in the relationship. He wants Mikey to want these things for himself, not just ask for them because he thinks Bob wants it. Mikey really hasn't shown any interest in BDSM up until this relationship with Bob.

Knifeplay is Bob's strongest kink and in our heads there were lots of discussions and arguments going on between the two of them before Bob actually agreed to do this, and even then it's not full on as he would do in a scene with somebody more experienced than Mikey.

There will be some fics from the sub's POV in this verse as well. We want to try and show it from all sides.

There should be more fic up within the next 7 days.

Oh wow. *LOVE* That was intense, and amazing beyond all belief of the word. Oh, and picturing Bob teaching Spencer? WANT. This was so awesome, I love it!!

Also, I must admit although we have Bob being Spencer's mentor we actually hadn't written any specific scenes. However, we're now thinking of the scene that we can write so thank you :D

Fascinaating - and beautifully written, though that goes without saying with you two in charge. I'm torn between loving the nuances of the relationship and having absolutely no interest in knives/knifeplay so I have to concentrate really hard to get inside Bob's head. You provide good directions! Looking forward to more!

Oh thank you. We're super pleased you liked it. We thought we'd start with a scene fic, although they'll be a lot along the way that doesn't involve scenes, but will certainly have angst :D. The Bob/Mikey pairing in this verse is for me probably the most difficult one to get invested in, although that will hopefully change as more is written. There will be a continuation of this scene from Mikey's POV going up at some point. Glad we gave good directions though :D
