Crushing beer cans with your lumbar muscles can be your new party trick. It will save space in the recycling bin and everything! :)

Oh argh. I hope your disc comes around well and your lumbar muscles get their own superhero movie. (I remember my PT for a bad disc, which started off consisting of, like, one leg lift while I wept with pain. It got more strenuous later but those early days were awful and I wasn't even doing anything!)
