We really don't know what the world is tuned in to. Maybe that limits us as an information service. We are trying to focus in parts on new music, introduce you perhaps to bands you might not know. To be fair, apart from people who are here because of our previous incarnations (Jenni, we hardly knew thee), anyone who finds this place probably knows

Untrue. Stumbled on here after googling a band I was being dragged along to with my mate. Have settled down, made myself at home. Sometimes I know more about the bands; more often I've never heard of them. It's good, useful, like having an enthusiastic music fan of a friend without the shit bits of friendship like having to know each other or be nice to each other or talk about anything other than music. And I don't have to say anything, either.

well, thanks for saying it and, when you're not, thanks for looking on anyway. we like to think we're like the guy working behind the counter at some record shop who doesn't look confused when you say "i want something a bit choppy but post punky with a weird electronic bent. played on spoons. from the orkney islands."

we wouldn't look confused although, to be fair, we wouldn't be able to help.
