Well, haven't written on LJ since May... holy cow. I'm hesitant to delete the account, as it's got so much history in it... but I don't know that I'll use it anymore, especially with facebook being so much more active with friends ( Read more... ) -
Visiting Kitty
My upstairs neighbor found a kitty in our parking lot area... poor thing was damp and hungry. He's got a cat, so couldn't take kitty in... but I could!
U.N. is checking to see if it's the downstairs neighbor's (who isn't home right now) .

*sigh*
The power went off in our office around 3pm. I finished all my non-computer work 15min later. I've been sitting in the dark for 30min with literally no work to do.
And they won't send folks home (I checked). None of my supervisors have anything for me. Sitting in a semi-dark cube reading my book.
