My grandmother, Rebecca Hall was widowed in the 20's and soon remarried to a widower, John Bleecker.  She had four children, he had five, so they needed a big place to live.  In the late 20's they bought a decrepit three-story Second Empire mansion in West Chester, Pa. and rehabbed it for their family ( Read more... )

A LJ puzzle.
I my journal,nested comments seem to display properly, up to at least seven levels deep?
In Debbie's  virtual birthday party only the top two levels show, and you have to click to see comments deeper than that.
Why are they different?

Last weekend we had Urban Tapestry - Allison, Jodi, and Debbie - here to do a house concert.  Saturday night they sang for about twenty people in our family room.  We and they all had a great time.

Saturday afternoon, before the concert, we took them to the Strong National Museum of Play where much hilarity ensued.
