Running out of his room and going to find Heracles to play with his cats hadn't been Feliciano's smartest idea. He never did ask what room he was in. He ended up going from room to room, knocking on everyone's door. Thanks to his luck, Heracles' room was the last one he knocked on at the far end of the east wing.
Feliciano knocked out a little tune against the door and rocked back on forth on his feet, waiting for someone to answer.
Lam Yit stood a few steps away from the East Wing. She took a deep breath.
Earlier, she had seen this muscular boy, chiding a horrible boy who was beating up a cat. He later picked up the hurt cat in his arms and cradled it affectionately. Lam Yit wanted to go up to him, so have a look at the cat, and to commend his act. But by the time she decided to, the boy had already disappeared with the cat.
To her surprise, she found the boy and the cat were at the school grounds later. Taking note of the room they entered, Lam Yit returned to her own dorm to unpack all of the food items she had brought from the supermarket. She selected two mackerels, and prepared a simple steamed dish in the kitchen. Then, she put them in a bowl, and made her way to the East Wing, Dorm 100.
... and she breathed out.
As she approached Dorm 100, she noticed another boy knocking at the door.
Heracles heard the sudden knocking on his door and proceeded to stand to open it. He muttered something in Greek, something along the lines of being surprised that people were here. Upon opening the door, he discovered Lam Yit and Feliciano outside his door, potentially prepared to love upon the kittens that Heracles had harbored in his room.
"Ah, hello." Heracles said, holding his hand up to his mouth so he could yawn. "I wasn't expecting any of the younger students to come this far to see them." He stepped to the side, allowing his two peers to enter the room.
"You said I could come see them!" Feliciano smiled at the Greek. "And kitties always need playmates!"
He dashed around the door and inside the room to plop himself down next to one of the cats. Gently picking it up, Feliciano brought the cat up to his face. "You're so cuute!"
Gupta had looked up the location of an old acquaintance of his after learning he was also attending the same school. There was a feeling of relief in knowing there were others here that he knew. He held his small puppy in his arms as he knocked on the door with the intention of introducing Heracles to Anubis.
Moments after Heracles had closed the door, there was another light rap on the door. Opening it again, the cat-lover was greeted by a dog. A dog.
And to his surprise, Gupta. He wasn't expecting to see Gupta down here, since the Egyptian had a dog, and not cats. Heracles smiled. "Why hello, Gupta." He said, laughing a bit. "He-" the Greek continued. "Won't eat my cats, will he?"
Gupta appreciated cats as much as anyone else, but Anubis was special to him. He shook his head, and held out the small jackal puppy who looked half asleep.
His eyes lit up. Heracles wasn't typically a dog person. But Gupta had just proven him otherwise. "O-Oh god...So-so...cuuuuute!" Heracles said in a hushed squeal to his old friend. "Where'd you get him?"
Yong Soo particularly liked Heracles' room: the door was usually open, having many cats around for a short period of time was pleasant, and Heracles himself was a rather gentle person. He noticed that today the door was creaked open and there were voices echoing throughout the halls, seeming to grow louder as he approached the room. Finally at the door, Yong Soo let himself in. The doorknob was crooked to the side and the door hadn't been completely shut. "I'm going to play with you today, Heracles!"
A flood of students were already in the room including Feliciano and Lam Yit as well as the Egyptian boy he met earlier. The first thing Yong Soo noticed was the stack of fish Lam Yit had brought and the second was that boy's dog. He scratched his chin. "Was I supposed to bring a present, too?"
Heracles had expected Yongsoo to say odd things like "play with you" now and then, so he tried not to let the slight innuendo bother him. The Greek smiled at the young Korean and let him into the room as he closed the door. "Don't worry, you didn't need to bring anything." He said, as he scooped up Athena who had gotten off the bed and was doing much better now that there were people around. "Just be careful of this little one and Achilles." Heracles added, stroking Athena's head. "Still hurt and such."
Yong Soo paid no heed to his speech and promptly flopped onto the floor, pawing at the little creatures as if he was an animal as well. He was relieved to know he didn't need to bring a gift, as going to his room and coming back would take some time.
"Your kittens are so cute!" he said while shaking hands with one of the kittens - this one was named Baklava, wasn't it? "Hello there, kitty-san!"
He sighed, a soft chuckle upon his lips as Yong Soo went to go and greet his cats. He figured, if there was anyone who knew how to be friendly with cats, it was this Korean boy. He watched at Yong Soo attempted to shake hands (er, paws?) with Baklava, who was batting at his hand, assuming it was a new toy for her.
