She managed to find the percussion instruments however. Starting with the easier instruments, she set up the snare drums, the quads, the base drums, axillary instruments, and finally, the keyboard instruments.
Some of them weren't assembled. She really hated that task, but she was good at doing it. After thirty minutes of annoyance by having to put together the marimbas and xylophones, she heard the chatter of students at the door, and headed over to unlock it.

She started putting a list of the books her students were going to read for the semester, rules of her class, and expectations for the year. It seemed peaceful in this little classroom of hers, it wasn't at all noisy like the music room. Still, thinking of how she was only an assistant director who primarily taught English lit. was kinda embarrassing. She should have specialized in something other than percussion music-wise.
She heard a knock on the door. It was probably her students. She simply said "Come in". After all, the door wasn't locked.

Once she was finished with that, she walked over to the chalk board and started to introduce herself to the class.
"Hello" she said to the class. "My name is Miss Yorkshire and I will be your literature teacher for the year."
She picked up the list from her desk and began to read from it.

So, like the other classes, she passed out the lists, along with the books for Gentleman's Agreement, one of her favorite books of all time. She went back over to her desk, with a smile of satisfaction on her face.

She handed out the lists to the class along with the books for Pride & Prejudice.
"Now, can someone tell me who Jane Austen was?" she asked, directing it to the entire class.
