The rain's makeshift mirrors in the roadways
Last night a random coyote barking outside caused a pang that made me realize that through my raising the desert sunrise has become a small irremovable part of my soul.
Film review: Revolutionary Road. 2/5 stars. The most entertaining part of the movie was how Kate Winslet's eyebrows stayed at that odd angle the whole time.

Chris and I saw Twelfth Night tonight at UCI (or "UC Irvine," as new standards mandate.) Dangerous to entertainment value as Shakespearean language can be, some rather superb acting made it a pretty enjoyable experience. Three birthday cakes
My twenty-fifth birthday was as satisfying as it was cake-filled. A custom-ordered snickerdoodle cake from my wonderful parents, cookies-and-cream cake from my wonderful coworkers, and a surprise chocolate cake from my wonderful Mongoose. Having four-course meals in suits every night, unlimited room service, and our cabin remade twice a day was a sweet taste of swankiness. Honey dear, take your damn pill
I didn't know they sold Melatonin, the hormone that helps govern circadian rhythms and make you feel sleepy as a diety supplement. Irresponsible as playing willy-nilly with hormones sounds, I had to buy a bottle.
