I like that blog entry. Even though now I'm all angry and upset again. These issues is what I've been reading up on when I was complaining to you about why I read stuff that I know will make me all upset.
So that next time you find yourself unable to get away from someone spouting idiocies either through ignorance or intent, you can explain rationally, while beating their head in with a beerbottle, kuinka tää juttu nyt oikeesti menee. :P Besides, the only way for anything to ever change, is if enough people pay attention and get upset. Apathy never got anyone anything.
True enough. But I can't read too much about it at once, makes me feel too bad. Either I get really, really angry or start feeling nauseuous and neither is all that productive. I can read a bit at a time though. :)
You must never tell him this is how you still see him, because he will likely be mortified.
Hahaa, yes. He is just too precious for words! We ended up working in the same team today, and even though I wanted to occasionally shake him (save me from the lethargy of 15-year-olds. Jesus, kids are slow. >.<) we had a pretty good time. I got to play grown up and tell stories about grandad, who is of course Otto's great-grandad, since he never got to meet him before he died.
This is the reason you should do a lot of random crap before you get old, you know! So that your family has a reason to tell stories about you later on. I don't know if he kept asking me questions because he saw that I was enjoying the talking so much, or if it was because he was actually interested, but at least it helped pass the time.
It's especially malevolent when Satan wields oneI think that's the association I get from the English word, yeah. That and "torches and pitchforks" when villagers decide to run a monster out of town. I think that's the only context
