My brother tripped over my mother's laundry basket and put his head through the wall the other day. When my mother saw her wall, she cried.

He just has a "bump" he says. It's a pretty normal looking head, but that hole looks huge!

Look on the bright side, at least it happened accidently. From what you've written about him, it's something I would have expected him to do on purpose.

That's true. He seemed really sorry. He started out saying to our mother that he "had a big problem." Of course, she starts thinking he means his usual behavior, and he keeps saying he has a big problem, and finally shows her.
