I'm in America

I feel odd. I like it up here, quite a lot, to be honest. I'm enjoying my time here immensely. And I haven't been doing anything. I've just been in the flat, nursing a cold that I think it's more of an ear infection than a cold, and reading a bit (not much, really), and watching Doctor Who on Netflix via my sister's account and her blue ray.

It's ( Read more... )

LUPE! YOU'RE HERE!

Omigosh omigosh omigosh! How long are you staying? Which county are you in? You're in PA, right? Ooooh, I hope we get a chance to meet up!

I'm here!!!! :D And I feel embarrassed to ask you this, but I don't think I know your name. (._.) I mean... I always call you pennin-ink in my head... and I feel like I should call you by your name, if that's fine to you. XD

I'm in State College, PA. It's basically the town where Penn State University is. It's cool here! I'm staying until August 31st. I am entirely in my sister's hands, though, and I don't have much money with me. D: I hope we can meet up, though! It'd be awesome! We've still got plenty of time, let's hope we can figure something out. :D Where would we be meeting? Let me know so I ask my sister how can I get there and all that jazz. XD

You can call me Ellie. It's what my nephew calls me. ^.^

Um...the nearest city to me that anyone might know about is called Syracuse. There's a town near here called Lysander with a nature preserve called Beaver Lake which has some incredible nature trails, if you still want to walk about and see the green.

How are you finding our coniferous trees?

Okay then, Ellie! :D

I'd like to see the green! Syracuse and Lysander are in NY? :D Here it's very nice, though I haven't been able to explore much because a) I caught a cold a week ago, when I arrived, and I'm still not recovered x_x, and b) it's too hot and humid, I step outside and feel like my face is melting!!! XDDD But I like it here. There are many trees. And I've seen bunnies and marmots! *u*

You leave close by? :D I thought you were still in Europe. Oh god, yes. I'm used to hot and dry, not hot and humid! It's not that hot, but humidity makes me sweat so much. It's gross. xD I'd rather stay inside where the A/C is. :P And it's nice to just hang around doing nothing, you're right. :D

I really wanted to go to Boston, but I don't have much money and my sister says it's too far to drive, so we'd have to take trains and buses and all that jazz. I am going to NYC, though, by the end of August. :D It'd be nice if we could meet up! :3

Oh god, yes. I used to think hot and dry was the worst, but no. I was wrong. Still, I prefer it here than back there in my home town. The heat is not *that* bad and the sun isn't that burning, and my sister has A/C. XD And it rains! And there are trees! And squirrels and bunnies! XDDD

Enjoy your time, have fun figuring it out! It's okay to be aimless sometimes. <3
