ugh no seriously, I kept looking at all the pictures and gifs of Chanyeol looking so lost at the exhibition while I was writing this and I was really close to tears ;~; I wanted to hug him so badly too! (Kris, please hug him for us!)

Applauds. This was really good: very emotional and heartrending. I particularly loved your wording - it was so evocative, especially this line: "Curling in the pit of his stomach like dancing flames, licking his insides until it turns into the size of a bonfire, roaring to life. I really appreciate how it's from Kris's POV and how you can see how much it's hurting him to see Chanyeol in pain and just bearing it with a grin, as he's wont to do. I particularly liked the confrontation/confession scene - I didn't expect it to play out like that so it was a nice surprise. It's very good, especially for a first fic. Good job. Also I liked the last two paragraphs. I don't think they seem out of place, although you could have ended it at bright and it would have been fitting also. Also when I first finished this, I was just sitting at my computer all ugly sobbing because precious otp is precious and Kris looking out for Chanyeol and the idea of Chanyeol ever being in any sort of pain ever makes me want to sob. ahhhhhh thank you so much for the constructive comment, especially since I'm "transitioning" from manga fanfics to k-pop fanfics with real people (idk, theoretically it should be the same... but I've found that it's not??). Yes, I thought it was particularly important for the entire story to be from Kris' POV rather than venturing into Chanyeol's POV. lol when I was writing the confrontation scene, that wasn't how I was expecting it to turn out either... which partially explains my dissatisfaction with the ending haha.

About Chanyeol's eyes, some people are now saying that they should be healed by now since he supposedly got the surgery around a month ago? But those pictures of his super red and watery eyes are very recent so idk anymore :/ Either way, yes, I hope he gets better soon if he is not already!
