I'm so excited...heading out on a mini-tour tomorrow with The Switchblade Kid. We'll be in Tuscaloosa Friday and New Orleans on Saturday. This will be my first actual touring experience...better late than never, yes?
Exposed Angela (my "primary"?) to Doctor Who last night...instant fan! Yay!

So I got my car broken into, and got grease on my dress shirt, AND that knife set was about $15 more than I thought it was...but tomorrow IS Friday.

Now that I am a grown man, I see my father and see that he is damaged. Not brave, but brutish. Cruel out of insecurity and fear.
I can see the seeds of those things inside me, but where he failed I have succeeded so far. Instead of weakly giving in or embracing it, I have gone on a deep journey to know myself. To accept the darkness, but ( Read more... ) -
Pondering still...
When I left LJ some time ago, I was in the midst of a shitstorm of personal...well, stuff.
In the course of re-embracing this mode of contact and communication, I feel green to it all. Awkward, even. This was a society I felt I had some place in, some justifiable reason to be here. Now, I feel out of phase, displaced.
Strange feeling!
