Winry is just... sitting in the rubble. She has drones in her family and they're dead. She was so excited about Thanksgiving and recognizes how the corpses are a sick mockery of the turkey.

She won't hear Ed. She's simply staring at the ground; her eyes are wide, her face is pale, and she is trembling. ]

[It's impossible to miss her and he doesn't bother trying to get her attention again. Ed makes his way through the rubble, kneeling in front of her.]

Winry? Winry, look at me, please. Are you hurt?

[ A second or two will pass without response. She needs to be tough, she knows that... but... sorry, Ed. This is just too much for her. She can barely see him through the predictable tears. ]

[She climbs up to her feet on her own, not ignoring his hand so much as it simply doesn't register. It's pretty clear how dazed she is, her eyes glazed over, staring intently at nothing in particular.]

[she is... in shock, to say the least... standing at the door to what had been her bedroom with wide eyes. the sound of Ed's voice jolts her -- physically, and she looks up with infinite relief.]

[she had been sleeping before the rude awakening, and maybe being a bit groggy is helping right now. sob.]

[oh thank god she's ok. in shock, but ok. didn't look hurt -- not blood, no burns, just shaken. he takes her hand, looking just as relieved as she is.]

I'm fine, but are you ok? Did you get hurt at all? Not really sure what happened. There was some kind of explosion and from what I saw it looks like the town's been leveled.

[the house, and... the children-- she reaches out for his arm, worried and still stunned as she surveys the damage.

[Where is Nyanpire? HERE IS NYANPIRE. After having scrabbled his way out of the rubble, he is stumble-staggering across the wreckage, straight towards Trisha.]

[ By the time that Ed finds her it can be assumed that Rika has recovered from the initial shock. She's absorbed her depression and let it sink behind her mask. Then discarded the mask when it was too painful to smile.

She can be found standing in a pile of rubble. She's searching it for useful things... by "useful" she means a metal anything that can be used as a weapon. But if asked, she'll make up a lame excuse. ]

... Edward. Mm... Mi I am okay, sir. [ She tries to keep her voice high pitched and cute. But she's so tired that she is just barely managing to pretend to be his cute little sister. ] You?

[Bullshit. He does not buy this "Rika is perfectly ok" act. Worry. All of it.]

I'm fine, really. You sure you're ok? You didn't get hurt or anything?

[ Too bad. She shakes her head slowly. Hands behind her back now. ]

Not hurt. I'll be fine. [ He'll worry, won't he? No matter what she does to reassure him that she's not, he's going to worry. Rika would rather Ed focused on other things. She plans to grab a weapon and investigate. He's got so many people to protect that maybe he won't come, providing she can play her hand right.

Her head droops for a moment. Deep breath. Time to try. ] The town... this is too cruel.

[Hit the nail on the head there, Rika. Ed's pretty determined to get you to safety and that safety has nothing to do with investigating anything. It's getting her down to the well protected base underground.]

[ Lan Fan has made her way out of the rubble and she seems to be wearing loose, baggy clothing that's been horribly tattered. Her arm, however, is in some serious disarray. It looks to be utterly crushed and hangs limply from her side. Various parts of her skin on the arm have been ripped off too. However, her facial expression doesn't seem to indicate any sort of pain or injury. ]

I am just fine Edward. Direct me to where the others are.
