How's that work? I mean, do you just sit down and they teach you spells or what?

That would be such a hilarious sight. Sitting down with some Yagudo getting taught spells sipping on a Yag drink.

Nah you fight them and hope they use it, when they use it, you kill 'em and hope you've done enough to learn the spell by absorbing it. It's gruesome.

You can actually do that? Man, that'd be awesome. I mean I wouldn't want to get hit with the spell, you know? That'd suck.

It's pretty fun in it's own way and kills the time. It sucks when the monster uses it and hits you harder than when you yourself use it for a crap amount of damage.

If you want I can show you some spells. Non-damage ones though, unless your brave enough to come with and find monsters.

On my world, yeah. Blue mages are a little different though. [He's not exactly ready to tell anyone about the process.]

So maybe I can't learn spells? Man. I mean, I guess I can do some spells. But I'd rather do it without summoning Hermes. So what's a Blue mage?

Well...I might have a scroll in one of my bags and we can see if you can learn it? No guarantee I have one though.

A blue mage is one who has accepted the quest for power, most, if not all blue mages become an Immortal. A guard to the Empress of Aht Urhgan. We're gifted in being able to use blue magic and swords.

Who's Hermes?

Aht Urhgan? [He tries to imitate the name but butchers it.] Man. What's blue magic then? Is it like ice spells or something?

[He pauses and grins wider.]

Hermes is my persona. I can summon him and he basically helps me kick these Shadows butts during the Dark Hour so we, me and my friends, can SAVE THE DAY!

[He's gesturing wildly.]

[He tries not to laugh at the pronouncation. It was awful, but then again Aradjian wasn't exactly the easiest language to pick up.]

Anything. Physical, elemental, enfeebling and enhancing. Depends what the spell is.

Wow! You're a summoner? I know we're from different worlds, but you have summoners in yours? Did you save the day then?

Uuuh, I don't really now if we ended up saving the day or not.

My friends here are from the future but they're not really telling me everything. From what I'm hearing it may be a 'no' on saving the world. Maybe because I can only summon Hermes. There's not many of us who can summon personas. Man, I think I'd prefer your powers over mine. Not that I don't love Hermes, don't get me wrong, but sometimes it's just not enough.

Well that sucks. My world is still in constant peril, but it's nice to know there are others out there that try to defend their own, it isn't easy.

Personas? We call them Avatars. Hey, even blue magic isn't enough sometimes, I'll solo things but I prefer to be with my best buddy, I smack it around and she incinerates it.

Heh, same here usually. Mostly with Feorlin though but quite a lot of my friends around my world, we all band together to help out. Different jobs as well.

[He was amused by the fist in the air.]

And some super creepy. When things calm down, if they ever do we should have some kind of big party!
