It's a lot more insidious than the memories. And a lot more adaptive.

Salt should kill them, if they function at all like normal plants. I don't know if you could even get something directed, especially not in the quantities we'd need.

[And then a thoughtful pause.] I'll keep that in mind; like you said, though, quantity's the issue. And if this incident's like everything else I've seen and heard about, it should pass soon. All the same... some basic tactics against it would be nice.

Have you found the root of any of them? A solution might present itself if we can find out where they start.

No. I've tried, but I've been avoiding getting too close. I'm no plant expert, but the way they're spreading doesn't look normal. Considering how fast and far they've grown, I don't know if they even grow normally to begin with.

Freezing them doesn't stop them the voices from coming, I'm afraid. And I have a feeling [no evidence to it, that's why it's just a feeling] that they'd regrow again even if we try to burn them down.
I'm afraid the most we can do for certain is to convince others not to fall for the voices.
