If Cole were to wrack his brain, he wouldn't really be able to name anyone who dislikes Voodoo (except Zealot, but she doesn't count). Personally, he's always seen her as the heart of the group. Whenever anyone watched, stunned or whatever, she was the one who was feeling for everyone else. She shed the tears no one else knew how to let fall. It's that about her that makes him comfortable talking to her about just about anything. He just sort of knows she'd never judge him, and doesn't really judge anyone (except Zealot, but she doesn't count). He's been over whatever feelings he might have been developing for her for a long time, but he still counts her as one of his closest friends.
He still feels very protective of her. He realizes there aren't many people in the world who understand where they come from, what they go through, and how different the world seems to them. He understands it isn't something she can learn from others, understanding where they come from, as she seems the world differently than a child would. He sees that she's changed from when she left, now that she's returned, and is glad to see she does have a better understanding of what it is to be free, even if she is still shackled, much the same as he is. He's started to wonder if those shackles will ever be broken, but he doesn't have the heart to share that with her.
At first attracted to her body (he can admit that), after having spoken with Ivy on more than one occasion, and the date they shared, he's started to find her very interesting. She's smart, dangerous, witty (in the right situations), classy, and sophisticated. At least, that's all he's consciously aware of. The truth of the matter is, he's starting to fall for her. He finds himself thinking about her and random times when it's been a few days since they talked, wondering what's she's up to and how she's doing. Next to Laura, she was the first person he thought of even checking on when the zombies showed up, and he was glad to be able to shack up with her. He was happy to see her enjoying having her powers disabled. In short, run away, Ivy. Gambit's falling for you.
Mitsuru is getting more comfortable with Thomas again and she's glad for that. He's harsh sometimes, but his advice is always good, and sometimes just what she needs to hear (even if she doesn't want to hear it. She definitely thinks he still hides stuff from her and from everyone, but she can respect that.
Love of his life, his strength, his greatest weakness, his heart, his mind, his soul. He could go on forever about how he feels about Justine, and a lot of it he can't even articulate. Justine is very much a part of who Thomas is. She keeps him grounded, focused, and gives him the self-confidence he needs to keep the demon at bay. She is his best partner, his confidant, and everything that reminds him there's something good inside him past all the demon-ness.
