If Cole were to wrack his brain, he wouldn't really be able to name anyone who dislikes Voodoo (except Zealot, but she doesn't count). Personally, he's always seen her as the heart of the group. Whenever anyone watched, stunned or whatever, she was the one who was feeling for everyone else. She shed the tears no one else knew how to let fall. It's that about her that makes him comfortable talking to her about just about anything. He just sort of knows she'd never judge him, and doesn't really judge anyone (except Zealot, but she doesn't count). He's been over whatever feelings he might have been developing for her for a long time, but he still counts her as one of his closest friends.

Let's be honest, he liked her from the moment she cut his mask off and told him to stay down because he looked better with his head on his shoulders. Those initial feelings just grew as he got to know her more, and as much as Zealot and Majestic were insistent upon her being a traitor, he never really bought it. She'd just never fit the profile, and he'd seen his fair share of traitors. It always hurt to know she picked Majestros over him, but knowing that she went to save Savant rather than to go with Majestic finally gave him the courage to confront Charis about his feelings. Now that they're sort of dating, he's both excited and worried. If this actually works, what's going to happen to screw it up?

Shameless "they talked once" first impressions get?

So far, he's talked to a pretty well-together girl...for a kid. He's worried about all these little Japanese kids running around this place, but they seem to have their heads on straight (some of them at the cost of their personalities, but whatever). He'll be keeping an eye on them all, though.

[They're a dime a dozen in these parts, ma'am.]

Elena seems like a nice kid, and curious too, which Cole doesn't mind. He likes to talk. He looks forward to talking to her more and maybe getting to know her...strictly as friends, mind you. He's sort of seeing someone.

I'm sure they'll have lots of interesting conversations in the future. :)

And Elena's perfectly fine with being 'just friends' with people - it's in her nature to be nice to anyone she can.

The panda. *sigh*. Cole...actually thinks the Panda's pretty cool...you know, for a talking panda. He needs to swing by to see what this food's all about, too, you know, when there aren't zombies all over the place. Yeah, that weird vegan food, man. Weeeird.

He seems like a nice enough...panda, though.

Attitude from hell and a bitch on wheels, but all that spunk doesn't come with experience. He knows that well enough. He figures she's got a pretty big chip on her shoulder. He was a pretty big douche when he was younger too. Being forced to know how to kill somebody by the age of 21'll do that to ya.

They've only talked a couple of times, but from what he can tell about her, she's smart but a little sheltered (relatively speaking) and damn it, she's just a kid. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY KIDS HERE?! Anyway, she's smart enough to know how to handle herself, so he's not too worried about her. That is to say, she reminds him a lot of a girl who's thousands of years older than him and he still thinks of as a little sister.

...yeah.
