When words start blurring together and sixes start looking like eights it is time to step back for a break. Misaki slowly started cleaning up the mess she had made on the front counter of the store, attempting to keep papers together while making a clean pile at the end of the counter. She carefully placed her tablet on top with her reading glasses and stretched her arms over her head, leaning back enough to crack her back. Perhaps she had been too ambitious with her book work because it was already afternoon and her stomach rumbling reminded her that she had forgotten not only to eat but that her bento was in the kitchen back home.
She relaxed her posture behind the counter, waiting for either a customer or one of the delivery workers to return. She could use the company before numbers and stories took over her mind.
