Kainé wasn't entirely sure how long she'd been passed out in the forest, there wasn't any good way to tell time in the Underworld. However, she did notice that she had been moved from the spot she'd passed out in, and so had her swords. That fucking bitch. Getting up was painful, but enough time seemed to have passed that the shotgun wound was at least starting to heal.

Dragging herself to Hawke Mansion was more than a little bit of a hassle. Climbing in through a window after making sure no one was around was even worse. She should have just found an empty house, but that thought only came as she was gripping the windowsill. A trail was being left as she made her way to the bathroom, a few bloody hand prints on the wall as she leaned against it, smaller drops of blood on the floor. She couldn't be bothered to do more than try to be quiet. Relief swept through her when she reached the door, and she slipped inside and locked the door. She didn't even bother to turn the water on, she just threw her swords on the floor and sunk into the empty bathtub. Maybe she'd take a nap. And when she woke up she'd find that fucking shithead, and beat her to death with her own gun.
