I do not think the ~heat~ is ~so~ bad. The tunnels stay rather ~cool~, and at least there are no ~bodies~ rotting.  I bought a remarkable ~air-filled~ pool of water at the bookstore to relax in, and am trying out my new 'swim-trunks'. They stay ~cooler~ than the buildings ~above~ ground, at least.

There are over ~400~, but not ~all~ of them will ~survive~. Madame Red is ~very~ proud of them nonetheless.
