I've actually had a mixed finished for devil!Sam for about two years now but I like it so much that I can't bear to post it with the shitty coverart my PS-less self can manage to make for it. I might want to post it in the future, but here's a sample track:

devil- the servant
me and the devil were standing side by side/ I looked in the mirror into my own eyes/ me and the devil were standing side by side/ he held out his claws and I began to rise

and for dean and castiel, i've been working on a one-sided (on castiel's part) dean/castiel vid to this song for a few months now. it's pretty much perfect in every way:

BB YOU WERE THE ONE WHO FIRST INTRODUCED ME TO THAT KATE NASH SONG! IDK if you remember the mix you posted like two summers ago but I DLed it from you and it had that and this song from Mathilda that I LOVE and I listened to it so much that summer while I was trapped without internet visiting family. I should've given you a shout out when posting this mix!

so this is main my song for nathan right now. it just really captures the tone of his attitude-- smart but really irreverent, very rhythmic and bouncy, with a bit of melancholy. i think it fits well with the tone of misfits as well:

pursuit of happiness- kid cudi ft. ratatat and mgmt

I agree with you completely on Effy. Am taking the songs I don't already have!

And, yes, I do want to play a game! How about... Daisy/Edmond? (I still haven't finished that book, by the way, because it was too emotionally overwrought for me at the time, but I'm really curious what you think would best fit them in song form.)

and omg you WOULD pick the most impossible pairing wouldn't you? agh they are so intense for me that you'd think i would've mixed them properly by now. ok being careful not to spoil the ending, here are two songs that remind me of daisy/edmond, which you probably already have but still--

so this song is really bouncy and poppy and light in tone but when applied to the book OH MAN IT KILLS:

portions for foxes- rilo kiley
because you're just damage control/ for a walking corpse like me/ like you/ because we'll all be/ portions for foxes

this one you definitely have but i will post a link in case anyone else wants it. the xx have this really soothing, subdued tone that is SO daisy/edmond and even though the f+tm song is very peppy, there's a feel of desperation to it:

you've got the love (the xx remix)- florence + the machine
sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough/ and things go wrong no matter what i do/ now and then it seems that life is just too much/ but you've got the love i need to see me through/ when ( ... )

Yes, I definitely have the second song but not the first. I will download it when I can! Ugh, Dad has turned off the wireless router and I really, really, REALLY wanted to start Misfits today but I can't because I haven't download any. I am crying on the inside, CRYING. You know how you knew you would like Doctor/Rose? Well, I KNOW I will love Nathan forever, but I can't watch it. At least I have my measley phone with its measley connection ( ... )

effy is so awesome, even if most people hate her. she has made some bad choices, but she's human and humans have flaws.

joe recently referred to this song in an interview with zooey as "our song" and also it is marvin gaye and therefore perfect:
