"but instead felt nothing short of the magic in the dancing of trees, the mysterious darkness between the stars, the ache of loneliness and the suspense of early romance..."
I hope the wind blows through your mermaid hair and words come out of hiding again, someday soon.
I like to think that at least we've been able to feel that enchantment to the fullest extent. it's not the same today, but I'll never be able to forget it all.
ojalá cuándo el otoño regrese, que con caer las hojas caige tambien un poco de la magia dentro de nuestros corazones ♥
Wow, this is my favourite post of yours I've read so far! It's what I consider a "true gothic feeling" to be. All that you described here. Haven't listened to Tristania in ages, I remember being mesmerised by Theatre of Tragedy...
Hehe, sorry you had to dig so deep to find this entry ;)
The feelings here, they are more genuine than anything else I have ever written about on LiveJournal... though they make my heart ache, these are some of the most wonderful things I can recall ever feeling. Theatre of Tragedy, Tristania, The 3rd and the Mortal, Lacrimosa, the list goes on forever. Although it too has been ages since I listen to anything like this, its impact on me will always be a part of me.
