I believe that if I focus my energy and resources on an activity, opportunities will arise to make use of and reward that activity.

It's a good philosophy, but it's not a terribly impressive business plan.

Writing and performing music. I don't have a very good model for generating income, partially because a lot of it boils down to "will anyone like this stuff?"
