Renn fayre was fantastic; I had a wonderful time with the my Reedie (including one honorary Reedie) friends. Though it left me with plenty of great memories (and hopefully pictures), it also left me with a chipped tooth and a horrific head cold. New Mexico e-mailed me today to tell me that the Latin American Studies program wants to nominate me for an assistentship teaching spanish. Wonderful except: it doesn't mean I'm accepted and even if I am whether I get in depends on an application I have to submit. I have to apply by the 24th which involves getting three recommendations, writing a ( Read more... ) -
