What happened to you out there? The Infinite Justice was looking pristine but... well... I know you would have wanted to try to stop Miss Athha yourself if you could.

You may have noticed that a friend of ours left the Independence 1 shortly after Kira and I did. As it turns out, we had the same destination -- but different purposes.

He found us out. And he had the Legend there. Kira was able to escape using the Destiny's speed, but...I was in a GOUF Ignited.

[One of the mechanics in the area sends for a medic team. In the meantime, Athrun doesn't seem to be bleeding too badly any more, but he's not going to be waking up any time soon.]

[Rhetorical questions aside, Mao knows enough first aid to be able to check if he's going to bleed to death in the next few minutes so that is what she does.]

[He certainly won't bleed to death, but there is a risk that he might go into shock. Even that is low, however.]

I knew you'd get through it. Even if it was a little touch and go. I'd say you should have stayed aboard the Eternal and let the GDF handle it, but then Cagalli and Shinn might have killed each other.

I doubt it -- I wasn't able to do much. I took out some of the weapons that Cagalli's mobile suit used...and maybe I shook her resolve...but that was it.

The Destiny, yes, but not my mobile suit. Kira and I had infiltrated ZAFT's base at Carpentaria to find out what Chairman Durandal's motives really were. But Rey spotted us on our way out. Kira stole the Destiny, and I stole a GOUF Ignited. The Destiny was too fast for the Legend, but my GOUF...
