I'm pretty excited about getting the whole thing set up, although embedding 270+ videos was kind of a labor.

Bored, lonely, and hot. Holy crap, this is awful.

Kev's in a foul mood by virtue of being Kev and my video-editing software's on the fritz so I can't put together tomorrow's Silent Hill opening.

Still haven't heard from the college about tutoring, even though I apparently have the job.

Man, everything is awful at the moment.

Looks like I got the tutoring position. It'll be on an as-needed basis this summer, but next fall things should take off considerably. And I'll be able to do it on top of teaching. I'm pretty excited about it.

And my compy is back in working order!

Sorry I haven't been around much of late. The power supply in my computer burn out and the new one is taking its sweet time in getting here. The only opportunities I've really had to get online have been during the evenings on my mom's lappy ( Read more... )

I just finished editing the first piece of video for my LP channel that makes it feel like I might, to some minute degree, have a slight understanding of what I am doing. It actually came together pretty well!

It will be up tomorrow and will feature me throwing myself down the street, being hit with heavy cardboard tubes, and drinking liquefied

Had my observation today. I'll find out how it went next week at some point or other. Not too optimistic at the moment. I kinda feel like a big fat lump of ugly and fail and screaming ineptitude. I hate being sick. I've managed to contract a head cold of some kind and it's making me miserable. I'm drowning in mucus and other sundry bodily fluids. If I don't get over this crap by tomorrow, I may have to cancel class for the first time. Boo.

Grading midterms...woo. Due to the format of the class this time, I made a longer midterm and it's taking a while to grade. It also doesn't help that most of my class actually decided to show up this time. How inconsiderate of them ( Read more... )

I had a hell of a time planning for class today. I always do my planning a day in advance, just in case. The problem is that the material is boring to me on a fairly ridiculous level and it's hard to make a lesson interesting when I can't muster up the slightest bit of interest myself.
