I noticed the drink after rewatching too! Well, as I said, that's how Naomily rolls: They get drunk and kiss each other :P ( ... )

Yeah, like brightest episode of last series turned into soomething so dark. A metaphor, perhaps? Oh me oh my.

I never really got into Harriet, Doug always stole the show in their scenes for me. Whereas Blood and Doug can (un)happily co-exist for me.

I'm glad that it's Panda's ep that's been cut, as she was the one I cared least about last series. But I'm only glad since they HAD to cut an ep - ideally I'd like this to be a 20 episode series, with two episodes for each cast member, one Everybody ep and one for wee James. If wishes were horses ...

As for Naomi, I just don't know. I get that she's changed, and really I'm glad. I want her and Emily together and for it to make some sort of sense, and that couldn't happen if Nae didn't change. It's just that it looks like such a huge CHANGE that it's a bit much. Like the fact that she's so worried about losing Emily - that's perfect, but her being so candid about it doesn't work so well. Or maybe it's just that it all came out in one highly charged scene, and if it'd had been shown over ( ... )

If this ends with Naomi and Emily seperate, no matter how tastefully or cleverly it's done, I will cry. I swear. Naomi gets hurt so easily it pains me to see.

I disagree, I think it will still in Naomi's character. Cook and Thomas seem to be the best guys to be open with and she seems comfortable enough around them. By now I'm certain everyone knows they're in love anyway. And besides, she doesn't go on a huge rant. In fact it seems like she comes to her senses, too. "Don't tell anybody? ....Don't tell Emily. She'd be..." and then rushes off. Classic Naomi, I think.

Obviously if the two break up, both girls will be torn to shreds. But I think Naomi would be hurting more as I think she needs Emily more than the reverse. So yes. If Naomi loses Emily, both of us will die inside.

You make a good point. I guess all my issues stem from the fact that I'm still getting used to the idea that it was her who was responsible. The reactions work well but I'm still adapting to Naomi being this involved.

It's interesting about them as a couple though, because based on most of the scenes it makes almost no sense to think that it's Naomi who's more needy, after all the chasing Emily did. But what you sense is that if it does go tits up Emily would hurt like hell and then grow past it. With Naomi it could really stop her in her tracks, like if it can't work with someone as perfect as Emily how can it work with anyone. I could see her then reverting to her old ways and shutting off all over again, whereas Emily's never going back to being as downtrodden as she was.

Thank you for acknowledging the superiority of my wife. She hijacked the entire episode with one line. One line! And she just killed me as she said it. SO MUCH HEARTBREAK!!!

But then this cheered me up.
