Allelujah just stared at the computer for the longest moment. It was entirely bizarre when people started referencing his long-since-gone other half; he couldn't figure it out, it didn't make sense. He'd initially figured that perhaps it was a leftover from when 'he' had been here before; maybe they were just used to seeing Hallelujah more for whatever reason.
And then...there he was.
His hands were still shaking over the thought. Four years. Four long horrible lonely years of torture and imprisonment and interrogation, with no constant voice in the back of his head to break the monotony. He had been sure that the head injury had 'killed' Hallelujah, wiped him out of their collective consciousness. It had been a horrible moment, drifting in space and reaching for someone who wasn't there anymore...
...but he was here.He didn't know what to think

He flinched slightly, unconsciously, as the door opened, at the surprised tone. The man didn't respond immediately, looking over his other. He had said it had been years... how had it been described to him? The cockpit exploded, they spoke, Alle found out about Marie... and then he had 'gone on'? he had been very vague about that.
...But apparently he hadn't returned in four years, and Alle had been left to fend for himself. And from the looks of it, he hadn't done well. Just from the dark circles under is eyes and the all-too-thin appearance it looked like he had been through hell. His shoulders tensed slightly, unsure of what to do.
"...yeah. It's me." he finally murmured out. What was he supposed to say? To do? As relieved and excited as he was, part of him was enraged that this continued to happen, fluctuating back and forth between having Allelujah and a purpose to losing him and it again. The gold eye looked down as his brows furrowed, hand clenching uselessly at his side.
"...I'm here. And... not a hallucination." For once.
Four years of hell. Four years of the HRL bashing on Allelujah and doing things he really didn't want to think about, in the name of finding out about Celestial Being. Four years of thinking of Marie and of Hallelujah, of wondering if anyone was even still alive or if they'd all followed Lockon off into death. Four years of being forgotten by everyone and everything.
But here was Halle again. Actually standing in front of him, and claiming to not be a hallucination. His free hand came up of its own volition, reaching out to touch Halle's shoulder; his eyes widened even more when he found solid flesh and bone and not imagination. Tentatively, he let his hand settle on Hallelujah's shoulder, fingers twitching in shock.
"Oh my god...oh my god, how, when, why..." This was unbelievable, and it was more than he had ever even remotely thought he'd ever see. He was having some issues keeping his mind straight at the moment. That was understandable, though. Wasn't every day you saw your other personality standing in front of you,

His eyes dipped down again as Allelujah reached out to touch his shoulder. He wasn't quite sure how to react to this- no matter how much he had pretended, physical contact had always been an impossibility for them. It was strange, how normal the contact felt- just like any other person, or brushing against the stranger

Allelujah had always sort of wondered just how it would feel to actually touch Hallelujah. It felt odder than not right now, though, because he could feel the difference between them. Halle was more filled out, built properly, and he knew he'd lost weight in prison. Kind of hard not to when you were barely allowed to even move
