Christmas is over. That went by quickly. We almost missed it entirely! It was a low-key day (as are most holidays around here). I haven't gotten around to editing the pictures we took. And even if I had, seems like I wouldn't actually post them anyway. I've gotten really slack about LJ pictures. But I did want to do my yearly listing of what the

OK, WHAT IS IT WITH THE PILLOW PET?!?!?

Also the ONLY THING Emma actually asked for. So Jojo ran out and bought it directly and every other thing she got for Christmas has been gravy, which means there has been a lot of gravy around here thanks to the hand-me-down shop in the schwanky part of town. (Fisher Price castle set = lots of little parts = lots of gravy).
But that Pillow Pet! It's a Pillow! AND A PET! It's Lavendar! It's been named Joanne, Leah, AND Uni! It has been ridden around the house on a number of occasions. It has been slept with. It has been carried, accessorized, and "fed" by all of us (using the little wagon from the castle set as a feed bucket).

Both of the kids wanted pillow pets, too. I don't get it. They're ugly and huge. There must be some draw to them that you don't get if you're over 8.
